# Backups (cloud)

**Description of our backup methods for the cloud solution**

* Each client environment is backed up daily for a rolling 7-day period.
* The backup is encrypted and stored off-site in our backup environment at a second hosting provider.
* The backup is also copied to the Alma datacenter weekly.
* Backups are regularly tested to ensure their restore capability.
* In addition to this backup system, we have a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) that guarantees your platform will be back up and running in less than 4 hours.
