Introduction
The validation circuit is triggered when depositing a new document or during a revision.
The validation circuit consists of several steps depending on the user's rights and the circuit configuration.

The Explorer
The explorer is a central page of the DMS. It is accessible from the DMS/Explorer menu or from a quick access on your home page.
The explorer allows the user to access the list of folders and files of the DMS in the form of a tree structure according to their rights.
The explorer offers a 3-column screen:
On the left: The folder tree structure
In the center: Folders and files in table mode
On the right: Properties and search (hidden by default)

Search
Introduction
Search on folders and files is available exclusively in the Explorer page, Menu DMS/Explorer and by clicking on the Search button at the top right.
The search function allows searching for files and folders based on many criteria.
Attention search options are more numerous in the Quality folder since document recording is more complete.

It is possible to add as many folders as necessary in the DMS. Folders represent the classification plan in the DMS.
Folder properties
For each folder, the user can access the properties from the right-click Properties or from the three points when hovering over the folder.

Add a file
Depending on these rights, the user can add files either from the "Add" action button at the top right of the screen, or by right-clicking in the central page and clicking on Add a file.
A new window will offer the user the document deposit form.

Administration
Administration of DMS referentials
Referentials
From the home page, click in the menu on "Administration / Referential management" to expand the menu.
All dropdown lists of the application are customizable from the referential manager.

Introduction
For each folder, the user can restrict access to this sub-folder based on the user's group or a site to secure access to documentation
For each folder, the user can associate the following rights by role (user group) or by user:
Browse = browse the tree structure
Read = read the folder content
Write = add content, add an annotation, rename, generate a new version, paste
Delete = move to trash, delete a versFew readersHeader and footer settings
For MS-Office type documents (Word, Excel) it is possible to insert headers and footers. These elements are configurable via the administration menu.
For PowerPoint documents, only the slide footer is applied
